SARS brutality: Complainant seeks N290M compensation
A complainant, Mr. Richard Augustine, at the Independent Investigative Panel on allegations of human rights violations by the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and other units of the Nigerian Police Force on Wednesday sought a compensation big N290million for injuries he sustained from a shot in the foot and his torture, cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment in the hands of SARS operatives in Nasarawa and Lagos states.
