Okocha, Di Matteo back Oscarine

Nigerian football legend Jay-Jay Okocha and former Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo have both backed Oscarine Masuluke to win FIFA's Puskas Award for the world's best goal.

Despite missing out on the Premiership Goal of the Season to Siphiwe Tshabalala from Kaizer Chiefs, the Baroka goalkeeper has been given the vote of approval from both Okocha and Di Matteo.

The 24-year-old delivered a stunning bicycle kick equaliser in injury time during last November's draw with Orlando Pirates.
Speaking to FIFA's official website, the retired Super Eagles star said, "My vote goes to the goalkeeper, because it's so rare to see something like that. Goals by goalkeepers are already very unusual, and last-minute bicycle kicks are too. I think it really was something very special."
The Italian added, "I really liked the strike by the goalkeeper and the celebrations afterwards were pretty unique too!"
