Mokwena praise for Chiefs coach Middendorp

Orlando Pirates coach Rhulani Mokwena has heaped praise on his opposite number at Kaizer Chiefs, Ernst Middendorp, ahead of Saturday’s crunch Telkom Knockout quarterfinal at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Mokwena, who will be coaching his first Soweto Derby, says he has been impressed how Middendorp has got the AmaKhosi back to winning ways this season.
"They have been doing very well.
They have a clear structure and that is down to the fact they have a good coach," Mokwena said, adding Chiefs will be favouruites for the victory, despite the fact they have won nine of their last 12 games against Pirates.
"We have done our analysis and we know what we are going to face. They come to this match as favourites.”
Mokwena has found his first job as a head coach a challenge, but says he is learning every day.
"The challenge of coaching this great club has been one that has stretched me. I never expected it to be easy."
